Dear Reader:

The Cowboy Times apologizes for not publishing our as promised expose on the rhetorical techniques of Bill O'Reilly and other national OP-ED writers. We do, however, promise to publish that piece shortly. The reason for our delay, to those who might be curious, involves in part an unexpected situation involving Jackson Hole's alternative weekly lodging a complaint with local law enforcement about our attempts to assist that periodical with Demo Derby'06 photographs, since published here and elsewhere. Instead of tackling matters far from home, The Cowboy Times decided that it ought first defend itself against this scurrilious attack upon its credibility. Due to this sudden development, The CT will, in the forthcoming days, be publishing an expose detailing how a certain local media outfit has failed to serve the public interest while attempting to slander the staff of The Cowboy Times. STAY TUNED, Dear Reader...we've got the goods and they promise to be a hoot!]
